The 2018 Slow Spokes of Macomb 48th annual Peach of a Ride will be on Sunday, August 26th. This is a fundraiser event to benefit bicycle programs and Rails to Trails programs in Michigan. It will be at located in Memphis, Michigan at the American Legion Post 566 at 34330 Boardman Road. This year I will be net control for the first time. We are in need of HAM Radio operators to work rest stops, and ride with SAG (Support and Gear) wagon drivers providing radio communications. Let me know if you are able to use your own vehicle as a SAG wagon.

The ride begins at 7:00 am and lasts until 4pm. Snacks and beverages at rest stops are included. An indoor lunch is also included.  Let me know your T-Shirt size as a collectable shirt is included. Lastly if you use your own vehicle as SAG the club will reimburse you $25.00 for gasoline. I can be reached at 586.530.6387 or email at k8wa@arrl.net
